Tomorrow Movement is campaigning for a Climate Jobs Guarantee- an ambitious plan to guarantee a good job to everyone who wants one and end unemployment while building a safe, caring and sustainable society.
Young people have been waiting our whole lives for climate action, and politicians continue to shirk their responsibility to act. At Biden’s climate conference last week, Scott Morrison said future generations should “thank us” while introducing no new plans to tackle climate change.
Politicians from both parties have no plan that can actually tackle the scale of the climate crisis. They should adopt an ambitious plan like a Climate Jobs Guarantee that would guarantee a safe and prosperous future for all.
While the Coalition and Labor continue to support new coal and gas big business ventures, fossil fuel billionaires continue to profit off the climate crisis. We are asking them to stand with us- young people and everyday workers, to invest in our future through a Climate Jobs Guarantee.
