Our plan to win a society that works for everyone, not just big business.

We know that taking our democracy back from big business to build a tomorrow that works for all of us won’t be easy. It’s going to take all of us organising in our communities and contesting for power to win a society with good jobs, great public services and a safe climate for all.

1. Build an unstoppable movement of young people that puts undeniable pressure on our government.

We are building a large and united movement that’s impossible to ignore. We use escalating moral actions to elevate the urgency of the crisis and draw new battle lines in the political debate. We are building our power by organising in our communities and building support for the urgent need to rebuild a society that works for everyone in order to solve the climate crisis.

2. Create a new political common sense that can unite movements for justice to win a world that works for all.

We can’t take our democracy back from powerful corporate interests on our own. We are working to unite movements and diverse groups to fight for a shared vision of a society built on dignity and justice and for all. Together we will create a new common sense and political agenda that puts the interests of all of us ahead of big business.

3. Turn the power of the movement into lasting political change for justice.

To win good jobs, great public services and a safe climate for all we need politicians who will put the interests of people ahead of big business. We will act boldly to set the political agenda and engage in politics in order to win this vision. We will call out politicians who act only in the interests of big business and applaud those who put people first. By demanding better of our political institutions, we will inspire young people to believe in and participate in democratic change. We will lock in our movement’s wins by always striving for lasting political change.

Our Strategy

Launching in 2020, we have a 5 year plan to win a climate job guarantee that will deliver good jobs, great public services and a safe climate for all.

Stage 1, 2020: We lanched the movement and set the national agenda for a just economy and climate jobs guarantee.

State 2, 2021: We grew our movement power to force political actors to pick a side: Climate & Jobs (everyday people) or Big Business.

Stage 3, 2023: Turn movement power into political power at 2024 election.

Stage 4, 2024: Escalate and win.
