Our movement is powerful because of its people. We just brought 100 young people together in Sydney to show the Labor Government that young people want and need real solutions for the climate and economic crises. But we know there’s more to do if we’re going to win the transformative climate justice solutions our generation deserves.

The Movement Circle Program is a 10 week long training program open for any young person around the country. Did you attend the Momentum training and action or see it on social media and wish you came along? Have you wanted to take action on climate, but haven’t known where to start? Or are you looking to build on your skills to organise to win big climate solutions in your community? Regardless of how you ended up here, you’re invited to join us as we strengthen the knowledge, skills and relationships in our movement.

2023 has seen heatwaves, droughts and extreme weather across the globe, alongside a huge increase in the cost of living and housing crisis. Young people across the country are looking for leadership from our government and a plan to take care of our communities. Through this program, we’ll learn to campaign together and demand Labor step up to address these crises. At the end of the program, we’ll be taking action targeting our federal labor MPs, calling for an ambitious plan for climate and jobs ahead of an unprecedented summer of heat.

Movement Circles are groups of 3-15 young people from the same neighbourhood, school or geographic area who want to campaign for climate and economic justice together. Each Circle will have a Host, who is given all of the support and resources necessary to run weekly meetings and activities for the rest of the Circle to participate in. All content covered in the MCP will be pre-prepared by us, so all you have to do is focus on learning some skills and having fun.
